Paranoid Escapes, multi-channel video essay, 2021/2023

This work was first commissioned for presentation online by Disclaimer Journal, and has since been adapted for gallery presentation.
In this work, I wanted to play with what a multi-channel video work could look like online, how it might be considered spatially, and created a tall video that a viewer has to scroll, experiencing moments and fragments at a time. Through this doom scroll work, I wanted to access the tremor in the body as both evidence and metaphor for the ungraspable impacts of climate colonialism on our earth, and the embodied unsettling of this.
